About Me

Hola! I am a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and founder of Trust the Process Therapy, based in California. I work with children (ages 10+), teens, and adults, with a special focus on supporting working professionals navigating occupational stress, boundaries, and achieving better work-life balance.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from San José State University in 2017 and my Master’s degree from California State University, Monterey Bay in 2021. I have been working in the field since 2017 across a variety of settings, including child welfare, medical social work, and school-based mental health services.

My experience includes supporting families in crisis through child welfare, helping individuals and families cope with grief and medical challenges in hospital settings, and providing school-based counseling and crisis support for elementary-aged children. Across all roles, I have developed a strong understanding of trauma, family dynamics, and the importance of emotional support in high-stress environments.

As a therapist, I bring a well-rounded perspective and a commitment to helping clients create meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.

My Approach & Values

01.

Growth Through Gentle Challenge

I believe meaningful change happens when clients are supported and also gently pushed outside of their comfort zone in a way that feels safe and intentional

02.

Accountability

I value helping clients stay accountable to their goals, commitments, and the changes they want to make in their lives, while also maintaining self-compassion throughout the process.

03.

Self awareness

I support clients in developing deeper insight into their thoughts, emotions, patterns, and behaviors, as self-awareness is often the foundation for lasting change.

04.

Support systems

I believe healing and growth are strengthened through connection. I help clients identify, build, and strengthen healthy support systems in their lives.
